The service agreement is designed with services delivered over the internet (cloud services) in mind. Cloud-based services are often standardized services that are delivered on standard terms from major software vendors. If the customer is going to buy a standardized cloud service, and does not need integration with other software or other customization, you do not need this agreement. In such cases, it is sufficient to comply with the software manufacturer’s own standard terms and conditions.
This agreement is only intended for those cases where the customer needs to integrate different standard services with each other, or if the customer wants to have a standardized service adapted to their own special needs.
