The operational services agreement is used when the supplier is to operate all or parts of the customer’s IT system. The agreement can also be used where the operating service is delivered as a remote service, and it is not decisive where the system to be operated is located.
Operational services may include, for example, operating hardware, operating system and operating software. In addition, the supplier is happy to provide necessary security updates, troubleshooting, handling of unwanted incidents and user support. The agreement does not cover software maintenance. If the customer wants maintenance services, ICT-Norway’s maintenance agreement can be used.
